Moshe Silagi, President

Moshe Silagi is the President of Silagi Development & Management (SDM). Started over 25 years ago in Southern California, Mr. Silagi’s uncommon approach to acquiring, building and managing commercial real estate properties has earned him the reputation among his investors and competitors as a value creator. Starting with a single retail property in Thousand Oaks, CA in the mid eighties, Mr. Silagi has amassed considerable holdings across various asset classes, in over 20 states nationally. Considered by many as a value add buyer and developer, Mr. Silagi has also expanded into Class A ground up high rise projects, as well as flex industrial/office properties in an effort to successfully capitalize on market fluctuations and opportunities.

In 1998, Mr. Silagi sold his first portfolio to former publicly traded company Arden Realty, of his prime commercial properties for $61M. Soon thereafter, Mr. Silagi began building and acquiring commercial properties, this time on a national platform with concentrations in the western states. In 2007, Mr. Silagi sold a portion of his portfolio of 3.5M square feet to GE Capital/The Muller Company for roughly $500M, which was one of the largest portfolio sales of that year. Mr. Silagi has been an active real estate investor over the past three years, and continues to seek opportunities from the Hawaiian Islands to the eastern seaboard.

Karen Silagi, Vice President Business Affairs

Karen Silagi is the Vice President Business Affairs for Silagi Development & Management (SDM). In her eleven years with the company, Ms. Silagi has negotiated in excess of 12 million square feet of lease transactions varying from small retail tenants to large corporate office entities. Ms. Silagi is also responsible for year end tenant reconciliations across the entire SDM portfolio.

Ms. Silagi studied at the University of Santa Barbara.

Rick Oliver, Vice President Hawaiian Holdings

Rick Oliver is a 29-year real estate veteran currently with $60 million in assets under management in the Hawaiian Islands. His role includes daily management of all operational aspects of Silagi’s residential, commercial real estate assets and business ventures including Nohea at Mauna Lani residential community and Big Island Country Club’s golf operations and real estate development of over 100 residential lots.

Mr. Oliver’s experience includes real estate sales and development where he acted as a principal in more than 200 real estate transactions totaling over $100 million. Developments have included single and multi-family developments in Atlanta, Georgia as well as the Hawaiian islands. In addition Mr. Oliver has served as a managing broker in is own real estate brokerage firm and has acted as an agent of Clark Realty Corporation in Hawaii. General real estate sales exceed 2000 residential and commercial properties with values exceeding $200 million.

Formal education includes a Bachelors of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Mr. Oliver holds many real estate designations including licensed Broker in Hawaii and Georgia.

William Lance, Southern Region Property Manager

William Lance is the Southern Region Property Manager for Silagi Development & Management (SDM), whereby he oversees the company’s Alabama and Georgia industrial holdings. Mr. Lance’s duties include coordinating all management and tenant activities at these locations and responding to situations at other company owned properties in the southeast.

Mario Calvillo, Southern California Asset Consultant

Mario encompasses over 25 years of extensive real estate experience in financial underwriting and Pro-forma analysis, acquisitions, leasing and investments of industrial land and industrial buildings totaling approximately 15 Mil. SF within the So Cal Inland Empire Region for institutional clients and private investors.
